Purina® Layena® Pearls Layer Feed

Purina® Layena® Pearls chicken feed is made for hens who are at least 18 weeks old and laying eggs. This layer feed has all the nutrients your chickens need, so you don't have to add any supplements. This 16% protein chicken feed supports hens' health and keeps them laying nutritious eggs. It contains oyster shells, Vitamin D, and manganese to support stronger eggshells. This chicken feed also contains prebiotics and probiotics for immune and gut health. Plus, there's marigold extract in the feed for rich, vibrant egg yolks. Purina® Layena® chicken layer feed is available in crumbles, pellets, or pearls. Crumbles, pellets, and pearls provide the same high quality nutrition. The choice between the three is a matter of personal preference. The unique bite-size pearls reduce feed waste while providing essential nutrients.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS

Best Results
Feed continuously as the sole ration after 18 weeks of age. Keep feed before birds at all times. Feed Purina® Layena® Pearls to laying hens as at least 90 percent of the diet. Most flocks should not need to supplement with oyster shell; however, it is good practice to place a dish of oyster shell out during hot weather. Hens will eat the oyster shell if needed.

During molt, switch to Purina® Flock Raiser® Feed for added protein needed for feather regrowth. When hens start laying again, transition back to Purina® Layena® Pearls Feed.
